I brought Luke and Lily to the doctor today. Dr. O suggested that Luke see an eye doctor for his tear duct obstruction. We already made an appointment with M. Al-Khudari. Dr. O also suggested that Luke gets started with early intervention for his speech. I am like, huh? Lilys speech therapist, Sarah, says she doesn't start on kids until they are 18 months. And that makes sense to me. Dr. O was also worried about Lukes weight. He gained 8 oz in the past month.
Dr. O also wants Lily to start weining off of the Pediasure. But the nutritionist, Juanita thinks pediasure is a great thing for her cause it has twice the amount of calories as whole milk. And it also has nutrition and vitamins in it. Dr. O said to just add butter to things. Dr. O also suggests that Lily follow up with Dr. Nagpal, the gastronologist. But I don't feel that it is necessary anymore. They have poked her around enough. We have the nutritionist coming to the house and to me that is enough care for Lily. Dr. Nagpal didn't find anything wrong with her in the 6 months he treated her: from blood work to a sweat test.
